2024 Portrait Session dates below!

SUBMISSIONS

If you have anything you would like to be included in the 2024 Richmond Chronicle, please submit the form below. Include your name how you would like it to be printed with your work, any titles, description of works, and/or artist statement, all are optional.

1-10 works may be submitted. Any kind of work is eligible: written works, photography, pictures of 3D artwork, or QR/Spotify codes to music. Please only submit work created/released/finished in 2024.

Due Date is January 12, 2025

  • How it works

    All portrait sessions will be held at The Camel, 1621 W Broad St, from 3 to 6pm.

    You only have to show up once! You’ll come in, scan a QR code with your phone, and we’ll take your picture!

  • December 1 -4

    Sunday- Wednesday

    3 - 6pm

  • *New* Group Portraits

    If you have an art collective, chess club, a band, or just some best friends, come in to take a group portrait for the yearbook! Available at all portrait sessions.

How it started…

As a photographer for primarily musicians and people on stage, I often find myself longing to capture and showcase the rest of the artists in our community as well as everyone supporting the artists by attending events and purchasing artwork. There are a lot of incredible people that surround musicians, and any artist community, that supports it, and help it to function and thrive.

If you identify as an artist or supporter of the arts, you are the subject of this project.

Please support me in documenting this beautiful community. This will be a print yearbook for you to cherish and remember this moment in Richmond.
